I know of a North Korean interrogation technique that uses a series of glass rods and a man’s urethra. I honestly do not know the details that follow, but I feel certain that it isn’t pretty.

The Russians used it during the 1956 Hungarian revolution. Insert glass rod up urethra, smash it while it's inside. Effects are pretty painful initially, and again every time you try to pee.
