A SCHOOL cancelled its Christmas performances to make way for Eid. A letter was sent to parents of children at Greenwood Junior School, Sneinton, on Monday. But following complaints from parents, a second letter was sent apologising and explaining that the performances would be staged in the new year.

I wonder what a Muslim Eid celebration would intail. I never heard of such a thing. While in London a month ago they were already in full swing of putting up Christmas decorations everywhere. Maybe this is just a school thing.
Its one school in Nottingham, not the entire UK. This is just another example of craven PC authorities creating a problem were one should not exist. If you read the article, ordinary muslim parents think that both holidays could have been celebrated and not cancelled or moved back until the New Year. Ordinary muslims are not the problem. Bonkers Islamist fanatics are on the one hand, and do-gooder super-liberal middle-class whites in positions of authority are on the other. Ordinary folk of all persuasions are just caught in between...
Agreed, it’s unfortunate that, Ordinary folk of all persuasions aren’t the ones making decisions and laws affecting the dynamics of EU Countries.

Really? What is an ordinary muslim? Are they some of the thousands that cheered in the streets after 9/11? Perhaps they are among the 10’s of thousands that fail to comdem, variopus terrorist attacks around the wolrd or maybe they are in the 10’s of thousands that offer lame excuses of justice for this or that muslim group, as if skauhtering women and children ever brought justice forth. One only needs to read regular news reports from the EU Country’s to see that muslims are indeed the problem and are part of the terrorist threat to destroy Western Civilization. To believe otherwise is foolish and dangerous.
Strains on the healthcare and education system, the law enoforcement systems fighting to bring sharia law into these country’s. And this is just the things yuou can see on the surface.
Well, my own guess is that you will see that happen in the White House over the next few years: Christmas activities will be curtailed, and Eid al-Adha will take on new prominence there.
We still have room over here for real patriots.
The school has an above average percentage of ethnic minority pupils.
This is the rub---Muslims and their bureaucrat enablers try to treat these things like they are "race" issues, when they are really religious and power issues, with Islam seeking to undermine and ultimately supplant Christian culture and tradition. Race has nothing to do with it. That Britain has let them successfully hide behind "race" whenever these incidents happen speaks as to how low that country has sunk on the cultural front.
It's only amatter of time before CAIR starts using "race" as a jsutification for promoting pro0Islamic policies here in thsi country, if it has not done so already.
Sounds like one barmy head to me, who will probably get a good kicking from the school governors. Here in East London ( a very mixed community) My five year old daughter is busy being taught Christmas Carols by her school teacher - who is Muslim, as it happens. There’s a carol concert at the end of term. They do have an Eid party too - basically bring in some food and play some games.
You need to take what you see and hear in the press with a pinch of salt. They don’t really care to report the ordinary, boring truth that most muslims are generally no better or worse than those of other cultures, they would rather tell riveting stories of screaming mullahs, angry, damaged crowds of Palestinians, or demonstrations by motley collections of extremists chanting death to the infidel. Thats what gets the punters in. If that is your sole experiance of muslims, then that is the only impression you’re going to get.
Its like not knowning any christians, and then watching footage of a Klan rally or a demonstration by Westboro Baptist Church and deciding that all christians are like those nutters...
The next eid holiday coming up, on 7-8/12, is Id ul Adha. This charming festival consists of ceremonially slaughtering tens of thousand of goats and cattle, then distributing the meat to the poor.
There is, since Monday, a herd of perhaps 300 goats tied up ~300 metres from my house, ready for the knife. The stench would gag a maggot ....
Rev. Peterson's segment will deal with a UK school that cancelled a Christmas nativity in favor of Muslim celebrations.
This was a decision made by the school.
White liberal PC’ers. NOT a request from any Muslim.
In fact, Muslim parents complained along with the other parents because their children wanted to take part in the nativity play!.
This was another white liberal PC act of idiocy.
