AL FRANKEN WANTS WHAT??
NEALZ NUZE ^ | December 5, 2008 | NEAL BOORTZ

Posted on 12/05/2008 6:58:25 AM PST by Turret Gunner A20

As of yesterday, funny guy Al Franken was losing in the Minnesota Senate race. With 98% of the precincts reporting, Norm Coleman led by 316 votes.

Recognizing that defeat was near, Franken did what any sane, rational person would do .. he asked for the government to engage in a "systematic, forensic search" for 133 ballots missing in Minneapolis. Oh and by the way, this specific precinct heavily favors the Democrats.

I'd be curious to know the final price tag of all this funny business. How much taxpayer money will be spent doing a "systematic forensic search" for ballots that probably don't even exist! I mean we are talking about having to interview every single person who touched or transported ballots in that district. Anyone at the polling place, all the drivers of the vehicles that carried the ballots, each and every single employee that works in any warehouse where these ballots might have been stored.

Are you just as ready as I am to have this darn election in the history books?

Al Franken failed at talk radio .. maybe after this Senate race he can take his bitter self back to New York and write some more hilarious stuff for SNL.

Frankin was a “writer” on SNL early on, but on any skit he wrote that was so painfully unfunny that none of the “not ready for prime time players” wanted to do it you would see Frankin and his dipwap partner in comedic crime go out to do their unfunny skit.

In other words, in early SNL when you saw Frankin you knew it was trouble.

Later when he was a “NRFPT player” he was still unfunny, even with other people writing for him.

With the GA race turning out the way it did , the Senate leadership has no interest in helping out Franken since he won’t make much of an impact. You can bet if Saxby had lost they would be all over this. Reid and Pelosi are busy cobbling bills for spending money we don’t have for “Butter-hands” to sign the week he is is sworn in. Franken just looks like a whining little pimple and will told to go away fairly soon by the powers that be.

" ... A coked out, former comedy writer and failed actor turned bitter crazy ultra-liberal partisan has no business getting anywhere near the Senate ..."

I dunno ... seems he (?) would fit right in.

P/S ... I'll hold him up, while you kick his ass ... then it's my turn.

The fact that people in Minnesota are so stupid as to put him
within 316 votes is terrifying.

My brother got his masters degree at U. Minn. (at the St. Paul
"agriculture" campus).
His general thought is it was a miracle that someone as fairly
conservative as Coleman got elected.

He liked most of the rural folks he met in MN, but said that
the Twin Cities had plenty of folks proud of the socialistic
and leftist leanings of their ancestors...hence a general lean
to electing Dems.

Perhaps the ballots were made of biodegradable 'Green' paper and now consists only of dust particles? They'll need to reconstruct them somehow. :)

I thought Franken came out yesterday and said he was ahead? How did he come to that conclusion?

Astronaut, I believe you are kidding about delivering an ass whoopin to al franken, But on a serious note, I’m surprised you don’t see that sort of thing much more often than you do see it.
I mean there are a few supreme court justices and members of the senate and congress who richly deserve serious ass whoopins.
I’d bet the farm al franken got lots of rump kicking done to his sorry ass in school.

He must have come to that conclusion by assuming that every single challenge would be decided in his favor.

I do hope one of your greatest wishes comes true, and I hope I’m around to see it! That would really lift my spirits to see a Democrat get what they deserve, and Al Franken deserves even more for irritating the public with his whiny ways, voice, and stupidity! I am so tired of seeing the corrupt ones in Congress getting a pass on every corrupt act, and Republicans having to pay for the least infraction of a rule.

So he is desperate to lose by 183 votes??? Liberals. Bless their pointy little heads...

At this point it doesn't matter. It could be 183 votes or 183,000 votes. He is simply planting the seeds of doubt so he has manufactured grounds to go whining to the Senate.

They don’t know for sure. They only know that 133 less votes in the hand recount than what where reported election night. So they don’t know if the first count was maching error or human error or ballots just went missing.

Thanks for the info. I just don't understand how these things get so messed up. It should be a simple thing to do.

“The fact that people in Minnesota are so stupid as to put him within 316 votes is terrifying”

Hey now, not everybody from Minnesota is that stupid. The majority of the farmers and small town folk around this part of MN are strong Coleman supporters. Blame Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Leave greater Minnesota out of this.

Look at it this way, Al: When your votes are compared with the total of Coleman’s, plus the independent and the libertarian candidates, you lose BIG time. Give it a rest, Al.

One precinct in Minneapolis had a discrepancy of 133 votes on the tally sheets (IIRC) compared to the actual votes cast.

It could be a simple math error, or it could be that the precinct captain erred in certifying the vote totals for the precinct.

After all is said and done, I bet that no one goes to jail or gets fined for tampering with ballots, “misplacing” ballots etc.

Who watches the watchers in MN?

Did you ever notice libs are the only ones who make a big deal about election counts when they do not work in their favor??

I hate to mention here but I can only imagine how much fraud occured in the Presidential election. You did not hear a peep about it other than FR and other Conservative venues. ie: ACORN
