Here is Gov (commerce secretary elect)Bill Richardson saying in Spanish that Obama is an "immigrant." (So he understands understands "immigrant" issues.)

You've heard people say "do not listen to what Israelis or Palestinians say in English. Listen to what they say in Hebrew and Arabic.

I wonder if the same rule applies here.

Maybe not.

Here in plain English is the Kenyan Ambassador saying that Obama is born in Kenya.

Exactly. And don’t forget lawsuits. Clog their system with everything you can think of - challenge anything and everything, on the basis of ‘fairness’.

This case never had a chance of being granted cert. The arguments were never even brought by the proper parties.

If you really want to crash the system, sign up for every possible government program you can, even if you’re not qualified.

Those who sign you up have some sort of incentive system to qualify as many as they can, so they’ll do the lying for you.

important to note that John McCain dealt with this issue straight-up — a bill was introduced in Congress to clear the matter up —

bill was a bi-partisan affair — introduced by Patrick Leahy.

If you are at all intrerested in the issue you should read it.

If any of the other candidates had been nominated (Rudy, Mitt or Huckster) and lost to Obama, I would have felt more sadness. McCain, I can tolerate but never liked, minimized my pain due to the non-natural-born-citizen winning.

This should have been done a year ago, first by Hillary and then by McCain.

It couldn't have been done a year ago, or anytime before the the election by McCain.

Read this or this.  The second relates to McCain's citizenship, but the concept is the same -- first you have to prove harm, and you can only do that once harm (in this case, losing an election) has occured.

I'm not even sure who Hillary would sue in the case of the primaries -- her own Party? There are no laws governing party procedures. No,  she would have had to make a public issue of it somehow -- and alienate the Democrat's black constituency, bringing down the wrath of the press and outraged charges of racism.

I agree that God’s plan is a mystery to man. I also believe that everything we choose to do and everything we actually do, is part of His plan.

I did not mean someone should have sued; I meant this is part of the vetting process. The McCain campaign certainly could have and should have raised these issues, with special emphasis on the mysterious background of Obama. Hillary should have called on Obama to release all of his personal records, including his college transcripts, passport information, etc.

McCain can still win the Presidency when Obama becomes ruled ineligible!

With a majority of Democratic electors and a Democratic-majority House, the chances of McCain winning are slim to none.

Time to move on and prepare for the future.

The words, "Move on" keep showing up on this forum.

I'd like to wait for the SCOTUS decision before I "move on."

If Thomas, Scalia, Alito, AND Roberts all tell us that Buraq is qualified,

I’ll accept that decision.

#####

Me too.

But I want them looking me in the eye, when they do it.
