Could Free Republic as an entity file a lawsuit???

I don't believe so. As many other articles posted here have pointed out, the plaintiff must have "legal standing." Apparently, merely being a defrauded American doesn't fill the bill.

It’s been 35+ years since I read a case in law school on “legal standing”, but I believe any plaintiff would have to be a citizen. Unfortunately, Free Republic is not a citizen.
