Certainly not. But Gallo didn’t win the Nobel Prize. Two other guys who agree with him did.
The HIV-doesn’t-cause-AIDS crowd seem to me like the biomedical version of truthers. I have an open mind on the subject, but if HIV doesn’t cause AIDS then why do drugs that attack the HIV virus benefit AIDS patients? And why does the amount of HIV virus in the body predict the likelihood of AIDS symptoms?
It pay to be skeptical, but not irrational.
