...In two other interesting developments Wednesday, NBC Chicago learned that Jackson Jr. was given a phone call from the U.S. Attorney's Office the night before the governor was taken into custody, advising him that the arrest was imminent. Also, the congressman's father, Jesse Jackson Sr., has retained legal council following the Blagojevich arrest.

Why did Jesse Jackson Sr. retain legal council? Was he doing the bidding for his son?
Fitzpartick arrested the white guy who was the patsy or the sacrificial lamb.
Obama, Jackson, Axelrod and Emmanuel will all get a free pass as does the kingpin of IL Daley.
Reach into a sack full of rattlesnakes ...
Sr. was supplying the dough. Via Rainbow coalition via Goldman Sachs et al. Affirmative action at work.
I want to know why JJJ got a phone call prior to the arrest??? What a mess
Looks like daddy’s got some exposure. May justice be done...
lol
Maybe JJJ wore a wire for DOJ. Now, did that get his old man in trouble?
Getting better and betterer.
Wouldn’t it be great if the Jackson family, Jr and Sr both, finally had to face justice for their endless list of crimes? Throw in Charlie Wrangel, and I’d be feeling generous enough to let Rev. Al go on making a fool of himself without going to prison. Wishful thinking, I know, but wouldn’t it be great if the system worked just once?
Heck, let’s root for the Blue Max here. Take down the Jacksons, Zerobama, Blagojevich, his foul-mouthed wife, and the Chicago machine all at the same time.
And as long as I’m dreaming, I’d like a pony.
The only reason for Jackson Senior to hire an attorney is some possible exposure. If he had no reason to fear anything, why would he bother?
No ponies for you! Only Dims get those.
You can bet your last dollar Daddy Jackson was making sure Little Jesse got a piece of the Obamah action.
It's counsel NBC can't even spell
Pingarooni!
No so fast ... Blago was on to Durbin, IMO, ... wouldn’t return his phone calls for 12 days.
Could be a double-edged sword in play.
:)
Sounds like daddy was doing the bidding.
My first thought when I saw Sr. hired a lawyer. Getting mighty crowded under that bus!
