I must have missed something - what would be significant about a trash bag and duct tape?

They just said on Fox something about if the tape was on her mouth. Are they suggesting she was put in the bag alive?? I think I”m going to be sick.

I understand that plastic trash bags were previously removed by detectives from the Anthony house. If they match the body bag, perhaps it's a piece of usable evidence. LE can go to the trash bag manufacturer and find out if the bags were produced as part of one particular "run".

Perhaps they took duct tape from the house, also. Duct tape yields lots of clues.....hair, threads, and particularly, fingerprints. Even after being in water for a long period of time, forensics can still pick up trace evidence from duct tape and plastic bags.

The speculation was that Casey put the tape over the child’s mouth and then held a cloth soaked with chloroform
over her nose...
