John Harris resigned this morning as Gov. Rod Blagojevich's chief of staff, his lawyer said.
Harris dropped off his letter of resignation today in person and will not be going back to the office, according to his lawyer, Terry Ekl.
Harris and Blagojevich were arrested at their homes Tuesday morning on federal corruption charges.
Each was released on a personal recognizance bond after a court hearing.

Rod’s probably demanding a bribe to resign.
Moving on the govenor, I think he should appoint his self as senator. After all, he has only been accused of wrong doing not convicted. This would cause a major upset for the democrates in general and Obama in particular.
Well, shoot! There goes the 1st of many. Reigning RATS are putting on the pressure. They & MSM don’t want their golden boy, osama, to be hurt so they’ll get the group to resign & sweep the dirties under the carpet.
Now......will Harris rat out Rahm, Obama, Daley.....or will he take the fall???

Harris should write to everyone he knows and say
“I am not despondent or suicidal — if authorities find my corpse in Grant Park or floating in Lake Michigan, please know that it was NOT a suicide and investigate accordingly.”
