It reads like a who's who of liberal Democrats: Clinton, Corzine, Dodd, Schumer, Kerry, Markey, Rangel, Bradley, Lautenberg ... and yes, even Obama.
So - they can be bought. But will they give back the ill-bootten goty?

What numbnut CNN announcer recently stated that most recent scandals involved Republicans? If this is true (which it isn't), the Dems are catching up quickly.

I must be psychic (LOL!) as from about day 1, I felt sure
this dude, like lots of Wall Street types are heavy DemoRat
donors.
Will these politicians be required to give back their ILL-GOTTEN GAINS?
At least that's what is likely to happen with investors that pulled
out funds from Madoff in the last couple of years according
to some legal commentators.

Madoff won’t spend a day in jail.
Meanwhile, some ghetto kid will be sent away for pilfering a twinkie at the 7-11.

There were several former Republican senators and congressmen,as I remember Fosseli and D’Amato were listed. The only current Repub pol who received money from Madoff was/is John McCain.
I am from Arizona and I am not surprised. I think I read that he received more funds from out of state than in state the last time he ran for Senate. I recall thinking at the time that there should be no out of state contributions to persons running to represent the people of a local district or state. The support money should be coming from the persons the candidate represents,or wishes to represent.
To: saradippity
I’m not sure I agree with that .. and it’s because during this last election, the democrats honed in on a lady running for a House seat, and even Pelosi went to the district and made a “district only” TV commercial to try to get her dem elected.
I was so appalled by how the dems were treating this woman, I sent her a small donation. I guess a lot of other repubs did too and she ended up winning her election.

I predict that the Obama Administration will be more “scandal-plagued” than that of William Jefferson Clinton.
