45% Suspect Obama Team Involved in Blagojevich Scandal
Rasmussen Reports.com ^ | December 15, 2008 | Rasmussenreports.com

Posted on 12/16/2008 5:34:52 AM PST by Dubya-M-DeesWent2SyriaStupid!

Forty five percent (45%) of U.S. voters say it is likely President-elect Obama or one of his top campaign aides was involved in the unfolding Blagojevich scandal in Illinois, including 23% who say it is Very Likely.

Just 11% say it is not at all likely, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey taken Thursday and Friday nights.

Voters nationally are more skeptical than those in Illinois. Thirty-two percent (32%) of Illinois voters said in a survey late last week that there is no way Obama was involved in the Blagojevich case, while only 13% said it is Very Likely that the president-elect was involved, with another 13% saying it is Somewhat Likely.

The Chicago Tribune on Saturday reported that Obama’s White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel had conversations with Blagojevich’s staff about candidates who were acceptable to the president-elect to fill his vacant Senate seat. Obama resigned from the Senate following his election as president.

Other news organizations have since confirmed the Tribune’s report, but no official word has come from Emanuel or the president-elect. Up until now, no one in a position of authority is saying that Obama or anyone on his staff is guilty of wrongdoing.

So everyone in our government is on the take? I would say so. It is a lost cause. All around.. our government with the power comes the greed and it turns a $162K a year job into a millionaire. As the rest of the country is thrown to the wolves.

It is beyond sickening!!!!

So what are we to do as we sit by and watch this? I am beyond pissed McCain was the planted choice.

It really is like a huge world government set-up with a pro U.N. Obama at the helm. I think he is beyond evil and he makes my skin crawl beyond words or politics.

I’m saying we RAISE A STINK and make sure that any “policies” that 0bama implements are accompanied by the taint of corruption.

I’m also saying that you shouldn’t get frustrated when you’re unable to sway any of his supporters to our cause over his corruption - they simply don’t care.

What job does Patrick Fitzgerald want since Obama owes him big time—pope, federal judge (even Supreme Court), ambassador to Ireland, attorney general (Eric Holder may not make it anyway because of the Marc Rich pardon and Obama would throw him over in a minute if Fitzgerald asked for it).

Not happening. If it did, Fitzgerald would be guilty of the same crimes as the Blog. I think Fitzgerald moved when he did because the Chicago Tribune let the cat out of the bag before Fitz wanted it done and so Fitz had to act before evidence could be destroyed.

It also puts Obama in a position where he cannot fire Fitzgerald. If he does, it means Obama is dirty (how can he not be) and would be obstructing justice.

In a shocking departure from “politics as usual,” President-elect Barack Obama announced that a review by his lawyer, Gregory Craig, found that Obama had no direct contact with Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich about the sale of his Senate seat, made vacant as a result of Obama’s purchase of the U.S. presidency.

Why does come as no surprise to be that Obama hires a criminal defense attorney as his White House counsel.

The ending hasn’t changed - I just checked. :)

Revelation 22:20-21 (New International Version)
20He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

Good points as well as Obama's promised reports are said to be timid, whatever that really means Read here.

Why does Fitz want Obama's report on hold is the question of the day?

This is silly. Even Blagojevich himself is recorded as stating that the Obama team was unwilling to “pay to play”. Some people will believe whatever they want in spite of the truth.

"So everyone in our government is on the take?"

I was once told something by a man for whom I had the greatest respect. He said, "The only reason you and I are honest men is because no one has, as yet, offered the amount it would take to buy us." I didn't want to believe that about myself, but none of us can ever be certain until we're tested.

If Fitzgerald tipped Preel Hussein to spare him and the nation, how did he know Preel Hussein wouldn’t (somehow) pass that on to Blago compromising the investigation?

If Obama and his minions are really clean, why would Fitzgerald request a delay in the release of an internal review?

I went through the affidavit submitted by FBI agent Daniel W. Cain trying to sort out who these people are. Here is what I've compiled so far:

Individual A (informant?) Individual BIndividual CIndividual DHighway Contractor 1Lobbyist 1Fundraiser AHospital Executive 1Deputy Governor AContributor 1Engineering Firm 1Advisor AAdvisor BSpokesman
Senate Candidate 1 (Valerie Jarrett) Senate Candidate 2Senate Candidate 3Senate Candidate 4Senate Candidate 5 (Jesse Jackson Jr) Senate Candidate 6President-Elect Advisor

Thanks. What is most insulting of our intelligence is that the very reports on Smoking Gun.com literally has "President Elect Advisor" "President Elect's Office" or some such sort of words, that make it VERY OBVIOUS, in the report.

Yet...we have watched the media and Obama deny any Obama or staff involvement. It is NUTS!

Why does Fitz want Obama's report on hold is the question of the day?

Here is what I posted yesterday and is my best guess:

Because it will eliminate any excuse for providing false statements. If pressed to disclose right away, the perps could always say they didn't have enough time to check all their records.

Fitz could also have someone inside the Obama campaign reporting on attempts to obstruct justice and as more time that passes the more likely some will conspire to lie to Fitz.

Fitz already has enough info to indict lots of people and if he is taking a closer look at the Rezko-Obama real estate deal; he's looking for info to possibly indict Obama and Blog's wife. Rezko would not sell part of his lot to Obama and render his lot unbuidable without some plan to get paid off. There is also the recent discovery that Obama doesn't even own his own house. His former boss at his law firm is the owner. Think there isn't something sleazy about that deal.

I believe that the secret service had evidence that Bill Clinton did illegal things while in office.
What I fail to understand is why they failed to act or report those illegal activities.

The Secret Service sees their primary responsibility as protecting the president. They do nothing, even "seeing" what the president is doing, that gets in the way of that. They want the president comfortable with having them around 24/7 and not try to avoid them. If that means driving the president to his girlfriend's house and guarding the bedroom door that's what they'll do.

I believe they will do the same with obamma lamma ding dong.

No doubt about that.

"If Fitzgerald tipped Preel Hussein to spare him and the nation, how did he know Preel Hussein wouldn’t (somehow) pass that on to Blago compromising the investigation?"

Possibly, Preel Hussein was discouraged from doing this by the simple mechanics of Federal Title III wiretap protocol. Before Hussein was given access, he would have had to sign a document stating he understood revealing any information he gained from that access to unauthorized personnel was a felony punishable by 20 years in a Federal prison. No, he wouldn't have even told his Chief of Staff.

If the above is true, no worries for 0bama. Same goes for you, move along, nothing to derail here.

BTW, welcome to FR
