Camelot Barbie Chronicles: Why Libs Love Their Royalty
Men for Palin Blog ^ | December 18, 2008 | W. T. Howes

Democrats everywhere are drooling over the coming ascension of Caroline Kennedy to the United States Senate. Despite her total lack of relevant experience, “Camelot Barbie” is going to begin her career near the top. How can someone with no objective qualification for statewide office begin her career with statewide office in one of the most powerful states in the Republic? It is because her party love political royalty. And liberals love political royalty because it helps them rationalize their defeatist worldview.

She was my first long-distance crush. When I was five, my family had coffee table books about JFK and his family. When at six I wrote my first short story, it was about a rendez-vous with Caroline. Caroline Kennedy was the princess of Camelot. I never met her. She was only an image to me. Over the past forty years, I have gotten over my crush on Caroline. While I respect her father, I do not worship her political family. In fact, I have come to detest what they stand for.

Liberals across the Republic love the Kennedys. Liberals across America allow the Kennedys to retain power, and allow Kennedys to ascend to power before they have any experience. Why?

It is very simple. Their concept of the existence of an exclusive class structure and a political aristocracy helps them rationalize their defeatist world view. At the core of their defeatist world view is their egotistic notion that they are under compensated and under appreciated. (If I had a quarter for every liberal who thought that they were paid less than they are worth, then I would be paid what I am worth!) That notion is based on the premise that they are smart. And thanks to the Self-Esteem Revolution, so many people are taught - either by their parents or by a teacher - that they are smart in order to boost that self-esteem.

These liberals who walk around thinking that they are really, really smart quite often don’t have jobs, titles, income or any other indicator of intelligence. As such, these liberals come to believe that there is a rigid class structure in which talent can not rise. They believe this because if talent could rise, then wouldn’t they be richer or more powerful?

Therefore, they embrace the political royalty, and in that embrace, they are safe in the delusion that they are hidden geniuses.

So many liberals think that they are smart that the words “smart” or “intelligent” or any of their many synonyms now have no objective definition. “Smart” can be self-defining. That is, a person can walk around thinking that they are smart because others do not understand what they understand. A person can walk around thinking that they are smart without any objective proof that their intelligence is anything but average or above-average.

Nailed it. Republicans and Democrats today are cut from the same cloth. It is unfortunate that they view the united states as a kingdom not a country, and it seems as those politically entrenched in our system are longing for the days of a monarchy. Too bad their “subjects” are not. (at least those not acting like subjects)

The otherb day, Rush was quite prolific regarding the two high profile senate seats that are going to need filled.

In Illinois, the seat must be filled, as a legacy, by an African American Democrat. And, even though NY has a history of carpet bagging going back to Princess Camelot’s Uncle Bobby...that CKS fills the ‘Kennedy Void’ that will occur due to Uncle Teddy’s poor health. Remember, there MUST always be at least one Kennedy in the US Senate at all times. Oh, and btw, Joe Biden”s boy is going to take his Senate seat.

More royalty in this country than the Brits ever thought of — only here they’re called elected officials: people who think laws are for the common folk to follow, but certainly not for them.

Yep! That about sums it up.

Not much different today, than when ancient Israel got Saul as there first King.

I think they like royalty because liberals are more infantile. Led by their infantile feelings, they want a parent to take care of them (ie a dictator). With this in mind, it is easy to understand why any conservative message of self-reliance is interpreted as hate speech -especially if they would be asked to sacrifice their own life for the freedom of others. It threatens their longing for the perfect sugar daddy and anyone who literally looks like a benevolent dictator is forgiven for any atrocity perpetuated against the people.

Infantile narcississm...I’m really getting sick of it. How do you entice an entire society to grow up?

Libs are always looking for a “Savior.” FDR, JFK, WJC, and now BHO. They are to be pitied because they are so shallow.

How can someone with no objective qualification for statewide office...

I remember having this exact thought on two other occastions:
The US Senate elections of Patty Murray (D-WA) and Barbara Boxer (D-CA). In both cases the "D" stands for "Dumbass."

There is a 30 second sound byte of Camelot Barbie in Syracuse, NY, yesterday. The drivebys were trying to ask ‘Mrs. Kennedy’ (why has she dropped the Schlosssssberg?) Questions and Princess Caroline sounded very annoyed that she had to be bothered. She has a very patrician, nasally voice...that coupled with her ‘old money’ look doesn’t bode well in the media age. Hillary looks and sounds much younger (but Clinton is 11 years older).

These libs in New York have been anti-American from the very beginning. When the British took NYC from the Americans in the Revolutionary war, they received a very warm welcome. New York has never really been pro-American, so why start now? Afterall, being more like Brits than Americans, they worship Europe, Royalty and are anti-American. Besides, it makes no difference who fills the Senate seat from NY - the votes cast will always be the same...

She has a very patrician, nasally voice..

It is MUSICAL compared to her cousin Maria Shriver (who was hired as a TV reporter!). Maria, Lady of California, could peel potatoes with her voice alone.

What was Obama before he became senator from Illinois? What experience does he have to be president? Knowledge means little to liberals. Style means everything. And Obama is a much sharper dresser than McCain, just as Slick was a fashion plate compared to Bush Sr. or Dole.

And Caroline Kennedy is ... well ... a Kennedy!

Caroline needs Maria’s Hollywood stylists. Lady Maria has great hair...the Princess looks like she went Great Cuts for the $9.99 special (sorry...but she has heavy coin...she needs to spend it). She just doesn’t come across as warm...she makes Hillary look pleasant.

Yup, she’s royalty, all right. And, she comes with the legendary royalty IQ...or lack thereof. She’ll make a perfect dhimmicratic shill.

In another couple of generations the entire Senate will sport the Habsburg lip and be carriers or victims of haemophilia.

Now that you mention it, the DC political establishment does seem to have inbred itself into an ugly melange of stunted ethics that can't seem to get any vigor from outside blood (state pols generally playing the role of minor German prinzessen). The financial community are essentially the Fuggers (choose your pronunciation) of our day, and if one tosses in the congenital syphilis that is Marxism, and there is one royal mess.

If there were any fairness or equity in politics...Gov. Patterson would just open any NY State phonebook, stick his finger on a random entry...and viola...Mrs. Edna Putzski of North Tonawanda you’re the new Jr. Senator of New York!
