But the article is wrong because Indiana's sales tax was raised to 7% months ago.The increased sales tax is supposed to offset property taxes which were getting out of hand,especially for people of limited income.

That's rich. So now you're paying sky high property tax and sales tax.

Yep;I remember when Indiana didn't even have a sales tax!

Then sometime in the late 1960s or 70s a 2% tax was imposed.In my working life it has gone from 2% to 7% which is a 250% increase in taxes!Liberals and those poor at math will try to say the tax rose 5%.
