Obama's Poet: 'Mustard-Colored Poop'

Obama has been touted as among the most literary presidents in modern history, but his choice for an inaugural poet has some scratching their heads.

Acting more like a man of politics than a man of letters, Obama picked former Chicago neighbor and family chum Elizabeth Alexander to deliver an original inaugural poem next month. Alexander, 46, is an African-American studies professor at Yale. Her brother worked on Obama’s campaign and transition team, according to the New Yorker magazine.

Like most of today's academia, a no talent poser who has achieved recognition solely on the efforts of academia's trying to seem outre and esoteric rather than on the basis of what they contribute to the art.

As with Maplethorpe, the words art and poetry no longer have meaning...it's just trash for posers.

Afterall, if the masses could appreciate it, the "elite" of the art world would no longer be precious.

Art died with "Expressionism" and poetry died with "free verse." Of course poetry and poets have always been a bit on the pretentious side.

Sorry fat people aren't on the approved grievance list. It's okay because they probably cause global warming by eating too much, plus they have a disturbing tendency to wear inappropriate spandex.

But all is not lost!

If you're poor, go for classism. And there's the classics. If you're non-white, go for racism or if you're female, sexism (if both, you're a twofer and might get a professorship).

If you're still out of luck, try breaking your legs and ride that train to ableism.

I’ve read some of his tripe (some of his “stories” and “poems” have appeared on the internet), and they are abyssmal. There is ample and convincing evidence that his terrorist buddy Bill Ayres wrote Odumbo’s “bestseller.”
