Yup. When I drove into Phoenix over twenty years ago for the first time, I distinctly remember driving downtown and pulling up to a stoplight, next to a rough looking guy on a chopper. He was wearing two pistols with about 10 inch barrels and a bullet-filled ammo-belt around his waist.

"Welcome to Phoenix," I thought... Not a bad place to live. Lots of people with guns - and many of them with concealed carry permits... One wouldn't want to mess with the joggers, for example ... I've seen quite a few of them with pistols in their fanny packs.

I go around town with a .45 cocked-and-locked in a belt holster a few times every year. Just because I can.
