Gay marriage was forced on the people of Massachusetts and Romney strong armed the legislature to fight aganst it, and filed several lawsuits to prevent it. However, he did not take the Alan Keyes approach and override the legislature. The Alan Keyes approach, while from a different political perspective, is identical to what the gay mobs want to do in California, ignore the process outlined in their state’s constitution to right a wrong because the greater good is at risk.

What a load of bunk.

The legislature did nothing in response to Goodridge, which was the proper course. Romney, although nothing obligated him to do so whatsoever, used Goodridge as an excuse to institute gay "marriage." Thereby making a mockery of constitutional governance and fulfilling his campaign promises to the gay lobby in spades.

You are clueless about what happened in this particular case, and the constitutional duties of the respective branches of government generally. Which makes you a perfect Romneyite. Such ignorance is Mitt's stock in trade.

I am not a supporter. I am only interested in being fair.

There was alot of effort for the legislature to vote for allowing traditional marriage to be put on the ballot. The legislature voted twice on this issue under Romney’s pressure and the signatures gathered. This is fact and happened. If you choose to deny it, it only marks you further as a person with an agenda, not one interested in the truth.
