What's interesting to see is that since Obama has not yet been sworn in, will he act differently once he actually IS President & Commander in Chief. Not that his views, values or techniques will change dramatically, but is he intentionally laying low now because things are messy in the world and there's no advantage to being too proactive and visible.

Now the question - will Obama appear so indecisive about what to do, so averse to straightforward questions, etc...?

I sure hope so in a political sense. But of course at the same time I don't want to see my country suffer. It's a tricky thing in these situations about knowing what to root for!

I just don’t know. The Presidency has a habit of changing people, but lately - Jimmy Carter, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II turned out not to be much affected by it - to the detriment of America.

Hope for the best - prepare for the worst.
