You weren't following along. Of course it's nothing new. But once upon a time, it didn't just go to the highest management/leadership levels, it went all the way down to the lowest clerk, postmaster, and the guy who mucked out the White House Stables. It no longer goes down anywhere near that far.

Absolutely, this will be a rat show all the way and incrementalism is still the name of the game. They won't get rid of everyone all at once but you can be sure the new/rat list is already completed and every vote they could buy with the promise of a new job has been bought.

From what I have seen, when obama runs for re-election in 2012 he will get the votes of 95% of the members that are currently on this forum.

It's not the dismissal of these people -- I'm sure none of them were surprised -- it's the classless way it was done.
