I'm sure you've heard of Occam's Razor. The simplest explanation for Stanley's behavior are the most likely, though this doesn't exclude other possibilities. A seventeen year old girl gets pregnant by a black man (we don't actually know it was BArack Senior, but that's the simplest explanation since he married the girl!) in Hawai'i, a new state with much mixed racial heritage at the time of statehood, albeit mostly asian and Hawaiian. Her mother is a rising banker personality on the Islands, as real estate is booming. The girl is very bright and needs to get a college education. Are the parents of this girl going to let her fly off to Mombassa with an older blackman who is a college student, knowing she is pregannt with the first grandchild? Would the parents send this girl to Washington state to hide out while the child goes through infanthood, to see just how dark he will turn out? Would the parents continue to have social dealings with the older man who impregnated their seventeen year old daughter? Would the parents of this girl try to cover up the circumstances of this girl's 'unwanted pregnancy'? Would the parents of this child mother still work to get their daughter a college education?

You can sort through that using Occam's Razor ... and you won't find it likely that Stanley Ann traveled to Mombassa while pregnant with Barack Obama senior's child. I believe Barack Obama was born in Hawai'i, from the union of a British subject and an underaged girl. I would argyue that he is not a natural born citizen due to his father's citizenship not being American. The rest is fanciful speculation, but the most significant thing to consider is that Barack Obama knew his father's citizenship limited his status yet he gamed the system to try and get into the presidency anyway because he 'feels' he's entitled despite the Constitution. That's why I deride him as an affirmative action fraud.

Nothing, I repeat- NOTHING, will surprise me about: Barack Hussein Obama II, Stanley Ann D. Obama, ‘Toots’ Dunham or Stanley Dunham. Nothing, N-o-t-h-i-n-g... Nothing! Occam's Razor be damned! LOL ;o)

You simply cannot use ANY template of reason-ability to reach a conclusion about this uber dysfunctional family. It's simply not possible. Try as you may...

I believe that in the late 50’s / early 60’s, the family was escaping the pressures of the cultural and societal values of America, that impugned their daughter's behavior. To add insult to injury, the daughter was swept up in the counter culture movement of the times, exacerbating the situation at hand.

What all of this says, taken in totality, is that America reflects / embraces the Dunham family model. THAT my friend, is the exclamation point to my reply.
