I agree with you, but they’re the ones on the ground and we’re the ones safe and warm 10 or more thousand miles away. Going in with ground troops almost seems like a throwaway move certain to cost IDF, lives, perhaps many of them, but equally certain to draw out some Hamas elements to be killed off. That “proportional” thing.
