I prefer the term debutramps!
Last year, my daughter and I were in a Walgreen's parking lot and another girl who had graduated two years before my daughter yelled "hello". We went over to her car to greet her and I saw a "Plan B" package on the seat. She noticed I had seen it and she pulled her purse over it. She told my daughter she had been at the local coming-out ball the night before. When we left my daughter regretted not asking her what she wore. I said that I was more curious about who her date had been!
So--this year---appearing in white--was the same girl making her own "debut". I guess "Plan B" worked and she got to have her own "Plan A" debutante night after all.
