LOS ANGELES, CA. (January 3, 2009) A burglar in Los Angeles chose the wrong celebrity to mess with -- quite literally.
Actress Jennifer Aniston and her personal assistant Debi Burke returned to Anistons Hollywood Hills home yesterday after a week away to find that thieves had emptied almost everything in the house.
"Tears just rolled down my face as I walked in and saw everything gone and piles of trash all over my home," Aniston reportedly said.
Aniston sent her assistant to the local police precinct to file a report while she inspected the piles left behind. As she walked back into the sunroom, a man walked through the back door straight into her, Aniston said.
"Jenifer caught the thief red-handed in her home," Burke said. "And what is even crazier, the man even had Jennifers hat sitting right on his head."
Aniston reportedly held the suspect, 33-year-old Tadd Bruce, at gunpoint and told him to sit on the floor until she decided what to do.
"She made this man clean up all the mess he made, piles of stuff, he had thrown out of the drawers and cabi-nets onto the floor," Burke said.
When Burke and the police arrived, Bruce complained about being forced to clean the home at gunpoint.
"This man had the nerve to raise sand about us making him clean up the mess he made in my house," Aniston said incredulously. "The police officer laughed at him when he complained and said anybody else would have shot him dead."
Police arrested Bruce 2 p.m. Friday on burglary and theft charges. He was being held in the Los Angeles County Detention Facility on a $30,000 bond.
Aniston is neighbors on the street with her best friend, the actress Courtney Cox of the sit-com "Friends," and her husband, David Arquette.
Ron Howard turned into a giant lobster one day and held the city of Shanghai hostage until Ron Palillo undermined the ground beneath him with nuclear bombs and caused him to fall into the center of the earth.
Funny store. But certainly not true. On January 3, the date of the PR release, she was still in Cabo.
This story is bunk... there is no “real press” associated with the story.
Fake.
I found one with a different name at http://www.wackbag.com/showthread.php?t=77972
The topic there had a link to an AOL article which has since been deleted.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (Oct. 18) - A burglar in Montgomery chose the wrong family to mess with, literally. Adrian and Tiffany McKinnon returned home on Tuesday after a week away to find that thieves had emptied almost everything the family of five owned, Tiffany McKinnon said through tears.
“Tears just rolled down my face as I walked in and saw everything gone and piles of trash all over my home,” she said.
Adrian McKinnon sent his wife to see her sister while he inspected the piles left behind. As he walked back into the sunroom, a man walked through the back door straight into him, Tiffany McKinnon told the Montgomery Advertiser in a story Thursday.
“My husband Adrian caught the thief red-handed in our home,” she said. “And what is even crazier, the man even had my husband’s hat sitting right on his head.”
Adrian McKinnon held the suspect, 33-year-old Tajuan Bullock, at gunpoint and told him to sit on the floor until he decided what to do.
“We made this man clean up all the mess he made, piles of stuff, he had thrown out of my drawers and cabinets onto the floor,” Tiffany McKinnon said.
When police arrived, Bullock complained about being forced to clean the home at gunpoint.
“This man had the nerve to raise sand about us making him clean up the mess he made in my house,” she said. “The police officer laughed at him when he complained and said anybody else would have shot him dead.”

Hubba hubba.
I’d be her slave...lol
And where are the pics? hehe
So far, PR-USA is the only source I've found, too.
If it's true, it usually takes 2 or 3 days for the tabloids to catch up with FR.
Many raging liberals have guns, and concealed carry. The difference is, they believe they should be the only ones to have that privilege.
Bulgaria. Search Aniston burglar at Google News.
She came home to a house that had been emptied but then made the thief clean up the mess??
Why didn't Anniston just call the police to come to her residence instead of sending her assistant to the local precinct to file a report?
And why did she not call the police when she had the suspect at gunpoint??
Creative second amendment application. Nice woman!
Whenever I come home and see that my house has been ransacked, I immediately send someone to drive to the police department to file a report rather than call 911 from my cell phone, knowing that there is no possibility that someone could be hiding in my house and that it is ok to start cleaning up before the police can see the crime scene.
Also, I have my gun right by the front door so I can grab it when I walk in. The bad guys never seem to see it sitting there.
***I thought she was a raging liberal. I wonder what she looks like with a gun in her hand***
Don’t kid yourself, libs, especially high profile celebrity libs, own guns.
They just don’t want US to have them. (Just like they don’t want us to own Learjets or Hummers).
Now that this is confirmed as a hoax, can we either delete the thread or add “hoax” to the title?
I believe she's from West Virginia. She's probably been carrying a rifle since she was big enough to keep both ends off the ground.
It will become the "in" thing for celebs because they are legends in their own minds and think they enjoy special status, which is why they are allowed to ride in gas guzzling limos and private jets, own multiple energy sucking mansions, and exploit tax loopholes, while the rest up us regular people are supposed to rely upon LEO for protection, take mass transit, live in mud huts, and pay full freight to the tax man.
Thanks NeverEVERKerry for finding that original. This didn't pass my smell test for a second.
Having said that:
