South Africa condemns escalation of Israeli's offensive in Gaza

Pretoria - The South African government on Sunday called for an immediate end to the escalation of Israeli's military operations in the Gaza Strip, saying the consequences were 'unacceptable.'

'The South African government unequivocally and in the strongest possible terms condemns the escalation of violence on the part of Israel brought about by the launching last night of a ground invasion into Gaza,' the foreign affairs department said in a statement.

Pretoria called on Israel to immediately and unconditionally withdraw its troops from the enclave, warning that the offensive 'will inevitably lead to an even larger loss of civilian life, which will have an impact throughout the region for years to come.'

Amazing how a tinpot country like South Africa has enough stature to even be noticed if not for the PC reputation.

You know, “the cause.”

When South Africa can get its morality in order from its own very corrupt and racist governing people then maybe it will have the credibility to speak up about world events and issues. For now they need to actually do something about crime, actually teach the truth about AIDS to their people and actually treat all tribes and whites as equals.

"South Africa condemns escalation of Israeli's offensive in Gaza"

Would this include a pledge by Hamas to stop lofting rockets into Israel? I think that I know the answer to that question.

Since when did the South Africans become terrorist sympathizers?

Mandela was a terrorist murderer just like Arafat. The Palestinians are trying to do to Israel what Mandela did to South Africa.

That explains why the media is so in love with Mandela. And here I thought that the former white South Africa was down on him.

SA deals with its own meteoric rise in crime, violence and corruption by silencing the press. I left in 1997, but I hear from friends still there that it has gotten much worse. The gov. is run by a bunch of thieving, murderous, 2-faced nitwits (Kinda like here in the US senate).

When they get around to condemning Zimbabwe the country just next door I'll come around to listening to anything they have to say.
