WOO-HOO! Let's hear it for illiteracy! You Go, TV! Soundbites, Soundbites, Rah-Rah-Rah!
And they used to say that Liberals were the ones who were into tearing things down. In the old days, conservatives would beat them at their own game and provide a conservative alternative that would succeed. HA! Conservatives have now gotten just as good at negativity and destruction. Who cares if America is illiterate and doesn't want in-depth reporting, as long as they aren't reading any leftist trash!
</sarc>
I dare any of the FReepers who are cheering to go buy up the P-I and run it as a conservative paper and show us that it's just the leftist slant that caused its demise. Come on, money where mouth is...
Or do y'all recognize that we're becoming a shallow sound-bite culture (which favors the left)?

BUMP for great news!
I want every person associated with the liberal newsrooms that have destroyed America to lose their jobs, their homes, and their families. Good riddance to bad garbage.

Time for somebody to post that HA-ha kid.... In America,one in five high school graduates cannot read his or her diploma.
Tens of millions of Americans cannot read or write at all; another 50 million are functionally illiterate.
44% of American adults do not read a book in a year.
The primary or exclusive source of information about current events for many voters is now television or online, with much shallower coverage than in earlier times. Many online readers do not go past the second paragraph before moving on, clearing the way for misleading coverage.
HA ha!!!

If it puts that Marxist, America-hating editorial cartoonist, David Horsey, out of work, I’m all for it.

I feel bad about the imminent death of the New York Times, but the patient has been enduring a slow and painful wasting disease for decades. The end, when it comes, will be a blessing.

I feel bad about the imminent death of the New York Times, but the patient has been enduring a slow and painful wasting disease for decades. The end, when it comes, will be a blessing. I'd MUCH rather see it be turned into a medium to convey the results of excellent in-depth factual reporting...but there aren't enough customers for such a thing here in America.

Seattle is like 450,000 (including the outlining areas) how can that many people support those two papers considering there are several local papers too ... the PI is/was a disgrace to Seattle as well as America.

But the feeling didn't last long. ;o)
