You BCS haters are ridiculous. The BCS is more accurate than ANY playoff would be. If USC is going to complain, tell them to get a tougher schedule. If Utah is going to complain, tell them to get a tougher schedule.

So, would you be in favor of the NCAA ditching that bloated basketball tournament that they hold at the conclusion of the regular season, and instead have the NCAA, based on some computer program, pick two teams to play for the championship?

Tell your football teams to be ready to play two games every weekend for three straight weeks, and you can have a real tournment. Beyond that, just get over it.

In the big picture, what the hell does "Number 1" mean? This stuff is silly to begin with and then the damn politicians get involved and turn it into a total farce! It's starting to remind me of Little League parents.

no. There are too many football teams and too few games in the season to warrant a ridiculous playoff. This is just being pushed by teams who have a good record (with an extremely easy schedule) and for some reason dont understand why they are not number 1. I’m sorry, being perfect in a conference like MW does not warrant a national championship. Instead of wasting energy on complaining, Utah should try to change conferences and get a tougher schedule. Same goes for USC.

and by the way... we ALREADY have a playoff system... its called the SEC
