Those invited “conservatives” are conservatives by profession not by ideology.
I guess one could say they are “actors”...Washington actors.

Fonda plays a prostitute in Klute, but she’s not one in real life, is she? Noonan and co. play elite “conservatives” on TV, but they are not conservatives in real life absolutely.

If they are THE Conservatives, what are we? Sounds like Bama and the media get to define us?

Look back at klintoon’s reign, WE were the enemy, not Bin Laden or muslims bombing the WTC, just us “right-wingers” like Ruby Ridge and Waco. Look at the nobama lineup, its klintoon 2.0.

Guess we’ll get to see pretty soon now. Can’t remember who during the Revolution said “we will either hang together or surely hang separately”.

The President of the United States calls you up and wants to see you for lunch or dinner. I would go.

The Grahams refused to do his prayer...some folks have backbone but yes, I'd probably hear what he has to say.

Obama is trying to motivate the turncoat what culture war moderates in the GOP to squash the harder right represented by my dear gal.

I should have had a /sarcasm tag on that. My only question is: We know about Brooks, Krauthammer and Kristol, but what do you consider Kudlow? He considers himself a church-going Catholic now...

Pharmy...I am well aware that Kudlow is a convert and God bless him but Obama does seem fascinated by Jews on the left and now the right as well.

I actually like Kudlow at times and Chuck more often than not and even Willie too but they are all soft compared to my views....and most on this forum

And Obama is hoping to use their media influence to thwart my side...the Palin—Old School- Culture war-Outside the Beltway-GOP

The GOP represented by those Obama chills with are part of the problem not the solution

I lost Will a long time ago...I probably like Gigot best....maybe but he’s pro amnesty.

but....anybody is gonna go dine with the presdient if he asks...it’s sort of a duty

Is it an accident most prominant Jews in the GOP are moderates?

and that most prominant Christian fundamentalists GOP are not?

I think we know that answer so if you are Obama then who you gonna call?

It works very well.

Choosing those beltway types for a sitdown with the Fresh Prince is just the latest act in a long running play. I still cant believe they managed to choose our Presidential candidate. Hats off to them for that. Our eyes were wide shut.

They've worked for years in all arenas of American life to turn the term "conservative" into something toxic. It is nothing but basic marketing strategy. If we don't operate as if this is a fait accompli, we will never be able to adopt a platform that can convince people otherwise.

I’m to the right of you. I know that much
Even Charles Grassley started out a staunch conservative and is a limp wet noodle today

I would tell this president to go F*** himself!

Why be polite? I would use more evocative language.

Is it any surprise the AntiChrist has the preternatural ability to mesmerize his subjects? That's step 1 of how to be an AC.

Yeah, I agree. In fact, I think anyone would be stupid not to go. Nevertheless, I wouldn't gush about the One after the fact--Yeesh!!

OMG, can you imagine what Noonan's next column is going to be like? I haven't followed her stuff seriously for years, but I might just read the next one with morbid curiousity. Just how weirdly smarmy will she be about the One? Reading it will be like watching the aftermath of a head-on collision on the freeway.
