I’m reading “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” in preparation of the next four years - you’d be surprised in just four pages I had found two similarities between 0-bama and Hitler, that just added to my list. Now with all this media fawning over him...it’s too much.

That’s a fascinating book- though I haven’t read it in many years- it’s a good idea. By the time you’re through I bet there will be more turned-down pages than not!

History...cycles...doomed..

i always wondered how the people of germany placed hitler in power - how they could miss what he was - i have seen the old speeches he would make yelling and the manic crowd cheering but could not understand how the people could give him power

i still don't understand how it happened even though i lived through the same thing in november - people voted for the race of a man or some obscure promise of ‘change’ - change from what to what? they don't know

spooks me

Do you want your blood to REALLY run cold? One slogan that Hitler used was “Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Fuhrer” - One people, one empire, one leader.

Well, Cafe-Press has a bumper sticker that says: Obama. One People. One Nation.
