Absolutely is was a big deal and it was absolutely NOT ok. Big Al consequently lost his student draft deferment and then become eligible to be drafted. Of course, daddy made it all ok as Big Al wound up in the army in some sort of staff function, don't recall just what and am not going to bother googling it, not worth the trouble.

I'm suggesting that it's more honorable to flunk out of Divinity school, as Gore is said to have done, than to cheat one's way thru Divinity school, as the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King has been proven to have done.
