Maybe Roberts did flub that part. But he wasn't entirely responsible for BHO's flubs. For instance, at the very beginning when Roberts was still saying "... do solemnly swear," BO interrupted him and was speaking at the same time. This apparently threw Roberts off, forcing him to back up a little, and from there on, their mistakes fed off each other and compounded.
The more I replay those few seconds on youtube, the more it appears BO initiated the chain of mistakes by interrupting Roberts at the beginning. So I'm not ready to dump this all on Roberts.

We TIVO’ed it a few times, and that is how it appears to me. I was embaressed for both of them, not to mention the entire world was watching that moment. I wonder what was running through Michelle’s mind.
