Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich will give his first national interviews to ABC's "Good Morning America" and "The View" on Monday, according to a Friday press release from the network.

He will be a guest Monday on "Good Morning America," which begins at 7 a.m. on WLS-Ch. 7, as his impeachment trial gets underway in Illinois.

He and his wife Patricia will then appear on "The View," which airs in Chicago at 10 a.m. on WLS-Ch. 7.

Blagojevich said Friday he would not participate in the trial, which he called a "hanging" at a Friday press conference.

I look forward to his “High Tech Lynching” remark that is due. Rhambo, Obammer and Daley may be his handlers.

If he appears on “The View” it won’t matter what he attempts to say. He’ll be interrupted every four words by those garrulous, squawking hens as they create their usual cacophony of incoherent babbling, overtalking, and little girl-on-camera silliness.

Anybody else realize this clown looks like the “Beaver”, or am I the only one who remembers the old Ozzie and Harriet show.

When will he be on Oprah? That’s what’s really important.

Hey this is GOLD. I hope Republican pundits and bloggers dont miss an awesome opportunity to get Blago to tell dirty little secrets on Dems. He is not the prototypical liberal, he is a street fighters kicked out of the cocktail party. He is a pariah for the Dems. He knows dirt on KING HUSSEIN COBRAMA. He knows Rezko. He knows where the bodies are buried. He is fighting for his life. We should enable him to spill the beans on KING HUSSEIN COBRAMA. Why do you thing MSM media is savaging him? They want to marginalize him to point of irrelevance. When he has the good to nail Rahm and COBRAMA then they will say he is a ‘nut job’ or desperate.

I say full speed ahead Blago!!

Justice Department Briefing on Blagojevich Investigation:
Patrick Fitzgerald, United States attorney general for the Northern District of Illinois [speaking to press]:
Published: December 9, 2008, New York Times

Excerpts from the transcript:

Fitzgerald: "In the governor words -- governor's words, quote, 'Fire all those bleeping people. Get them the bleep out of there. And get us some editorial support', close quote. And the bleeps are not really bleeps."

(snip)

Fitzgerald: "A month or so ago a $1.8 billion tollway project was announced. While that tollway project was being announced, Governor Blagojevich was privately seeking to have a person benefiting from that contract raise $100,000 in contributions, and privately the government (sic) said, 'I could have made a larger announcement but wanted to see how they would perform by the end of the year. If they don't perform, bleep 'em.' That's a quote. And the word 'bleep' was not the word he used."

(snip)

Fitzgerald: "The governor's own words describing the Senate seat, quote, 'It's a bleeping valuable thing -- thing. You just don't give it away for nothing', close quote."

Fitzgerald: "Another quote, 'I've got this thing, and it's bleeping golden. And I'm just not giving it up for bleeping nothing. I'm not going to do it, and I can always use it; I can parachute me there,' quote. Those are his words, not our characterization, other than with regard to the bleep."

Fitzgerald: "The tapes reveal that Governor Blagojevich wanted a number of things in exchange for making the appointment to the Senate seat -- an appointment as secretary of health and human services or an ambassadorship, an appointment to a private foundation, a higher paying job for his wife or campaign contributions."
