I agree with the premise and most of the substance of his arguments, but ststements liek the following diminish his argument and allows his critics to dismiss him as an alarmist:

A while back I heard the estimate that of the top three sources of income for Mexico (Tourism, oil, remittances), the second highest was remittances from Mexicans living in the United States. If they're not sending "every last penny" back, it's still a heck of a lot.
