Is Natural Selection Losing its Appeal?

Jan 28, 2009 — Some recent science reports sound like they are ready to cast Darwin’s key phrase natural selection overboard, or at least demote it from its leading role in evolution. These articles each hint that long-held beliefs are being challenged...

When one simply asserts that the theory is flawed with no science having been done, what do you expect?

Riiiight, and let me guess who determines what constitutes on rather or not the “sceince is done”...

could it be ONLY the evolutionists and no one else?

What a riot!

Actually, what a cult.

No serious peer review of evolution is in existence because each and every serious peer review of evolution is attacked as religion and shouted down and sued into silence or at the very least dismissed as such.

What a cult and what a crock!

It’s really plain to see exactly “how it works” unless you’re a kool-aid drinking cultist yourself!

I’ve seen plenty of science that points out too many flaws of the cult of evolution to keep track of anymore.

I don’t think so.

You don't think. So.

"No serious peer review of evolution is in existence because each and every serious peer review of evolution is attacked as religion and shouted down and sued into silence or at the very least dismissed as such."

Do you have specific examples of serious peer reviews that were (1) attacked as religion, (2) shouted down, and (3) sued into silence?

The original comment I replied to was:

“Scientists”, what a joke they are.

He qualified his statement immediately after that, within the very same post:

“check out Drudge today for a story on NSF and pornography”

or do you read more than one line at a time before you attack to defend your cult?

Not to mention, he was speaking of and responding to the article, did you bother reading that either?

But you knew that before your usual but plainly failed
auto-cult-response of “anti-science” anytime you perceive a threat or challenge to the cult.

No, the serious question is there any, ANY serious peer review of evolution PERIOD! I haven’t seen any whatsoever.

Meanwhile you have to be willfully blind not to see the shouting down, attacks as religion, just on this site alone not to see it.

If I so much as sneeze toward evolution...I can hear some screaming “Theocracy” and “Inquisition” in the backgorund.

How does one determine the center of something that has no borders?

You afraid there’s a scientist somewhere that might escape getting smeared?

If the Earth is unmoving then most everything else in the universe is orbiting around us at many times c - which simply isn’t happening.

"No"

That suffices.

Of course it suffices to a cultist...frankly I can’t imagine any other response!

Not that any of us thought it was for even one minute actually about the science.

There simply is no serious peer review of the cult of evolution that’s not attacked as non-science or religion.

It’s non-existant.

Cults can’t tolerate dissent.

Yes, I know how science works. Hypothesis, theory, rigorous testing.

Except in the case of evolution, where it’s anything goes.

What kind of God would fail to be absolute, anyway? Is He just supposed to posit ideas and hope we approve?

Ummm, no I’m pointing out your hypocrisy in sticking up for your side, and smearing those scientists you don’t agree with, all while babbling your “anti-science” idiocy anytime someone dissents.

You said earlier you weren’t a scientist...and most certainly not a rocket scientist.

On can not. But that doesn’t explain how Eta Carinae or VY Canis Majoris are able to exceed c by such a large amount.

So how do they manage to orbit us at a speed many times that of light?

wow...back to the endless projections...you simply can’t help yourself!

And I haven’t spent much time with you that wasn’t a waste of my time.

SOS, different day.

Yup, one can’t scientifically...and this also doesn’t explain why multiverse theory gets a complete free pass either.

And I suspect it has almost nothing at all to do with actual science.

Better to be anti “science” and pro-God than anti-God and pro- “science”. Science won’t get you to Heaven.

Why are you changing the topic to discussion of the multiverse hypothesis?

Neither will trying to tell people they have to choose.
