I don't expect the honeymoon to ever really end. President Obama is the creation of the press and "intelligencia" and his destiny is tied into theirs. They are fully invested in him.

Does Kevin mean “intelligentsia”, perhaps?

“intelligencia”

I call those kinds “pseudo-intellectuals”.

Real intelligence is kind, approachable, gentle and has a good sense o fhumor, including about themselves.

If Obama was a Republican:

"Obama is a war criminal! His illegal war on Pakistan was not approved by the UN!!! Why the rush to war on a country that had nothing to do with 9-11? Where is the diplomacy? Why not try sanctions before attacking Pakistan??? Where is France and Germany? Why are we doing this unilaterally?

Obama is an idiot! Have you seen the video on YouTube where his teleprompter went out? He can't even tell the difference between a window and a door at the White House! What a moron!!! He thinks there are 57 states! He said there were 10,000 deaths in some tornado, and instead there were only 12-what a buffoon!!!"

I’ve been arguing this since I saw that pic of Obama trying to walk through a window. Same exact line - “remember Bush trying to walk through the locked door?”

Remember: it doesn’t matter that Bush received better grades than Gore. Bush is a moron and Gore is a GENIUS. It doesn’t matter that Bush scored higher on the OSB than Kerry. (OSB = loosely disguised IQ test in the military) Bush is an imbecile and Kerry is Einstein.

Sigh.

"And by 'intelligencia' I usually refer to people who have such high opinions of their learned place in life that they rain down condemnation and snobbery upon the poor schmucks like me"

Ironic

You might be right, but the press are nothing but ravage dogs and are ready to turn on anybody and anything in an instant. The O has no chance if he somehow puts them offside.

Well, here is something for "above-his-paygrade" to think about.

For the first time in my life, I'm ashamed of my country - for electing an IDIOT.

I'd say I am ashamed he is from the USA, but he has yet to prove that. He has already ticked off the media within the first week. They built him up, and they can sink him like a lead ballon.

My personal peeve is how they use (and didn't use) the title of respect, "President". How many times did we hear "President Bush" in comparison to what we hear now? It was always "the Bush Administration" or just "Bush", even by conservatives. I have never once heard just "Obama".

Subtle propaganda. Do they teach these bias techniques in Journalism 101?

And by "intelligencia" I usually refer to people who have such high opinions of their learned place in life that they rain down condemnation and snobbery upon the poor schmucks like me who think common sense can be a more valuable commodity than ivy league tenure.

What a great way to put it.

I've always found it funny that the Democrat Party always claims to be for the "working class" yet they are the most elitist group of people on the planet. And Obama is the pefect example of this.

Obama should take some grammar lessons.

Tuesday- “There is some legitimate philosophical differences with parts of my plans ..”

Al Arabiya interview:
THE PRESIDENT: — ..... There’s no actions that they’ve taken .....

I can’t find the quote, but,I specifically heard Obama mangle a sentence when speaking extemporaneously in the Oval Office about the closing of Gitmo.
He used “ a” instead of “ an “.
I have no doubt that the media is sanitizing his grammar when they print texts of his remarks.

“I’ve personally spotted froth on the mouths of fellow church goers, relatives...”

I have spotted froth on fellow church goers too, and I don’t understand it at all. A lady in my Bible study class said, “He is for change, and people just won’t give him a chance.” My lovely, kind 92 year old aunt voted for him too. I don’t understand how these intelligent, loving, Christian people can’t see what he is.
