Turkish PM Erdogan: Hamas is 'not an arm of Iran'
Jerusalem Post ^

Posted on 02/01/2009 5:33:52 AM PST by Yehuda123

Hamas is a political party, not an "arm of Iran," Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. "If the whole world had given them the chance of becoming a political player maybe they would not be in a situation like this after the elections that they won. Palestine today is an open-air prison," he said.

“Hamas is not an arm of Iran.”

See, for me, this reads

Turkish PM Erdogan: I support Hamas, and would happily see Israel destroyed. I am sick of those darn jews and America and stuff. Muzzies should be in control of the world. It's not fair

"Palestine today is an open-air Insane Asylum"

Gaza is a Jihadi cesspool, maintained by Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria and Iran.

It is one thing to accept money and arms from Iran and another to be Iranian.

The continued acceptance might eventually change that.

The PM might be drawing a fine difference between Hamas and Hezbollah. Hezbollah has leadership that is Iranian.

"Hamas is a political party, not an "arm of Iran," Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said."

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is an idiot. Hamas is a terrorist group, organization or what every you want to call it, which is funded by Iran, therefore an extention of it. Just because they basically forced themselves onto a ballot, which was illegal itself, then forced- by using intimidation tactics that include the threat of death- people to "vote" in what was basically a sham election, since they basically drove the Palestinian authority and it's representation out from Gaza completely.

In a sane world, Hamas is not a political party, it is an Islamic terrorist organization openly mocking democracy and the democratic process much in the same way Saddam Hussien did, by ensuring through fear and death threats that he was the only one on the ballot, then forcing by threat of death the entire Iraqi population to turn out and vote for him.

So again, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is an idiot like all backwards Islamic nutjobs are.

Hamas is a political party

Yeah, a political party with guns...

Anytime I hear someone say that Israel shouldn't have a wall up to keep the Palestinians out of Israel, I have a strong urge to to ask them if they can take in the Palestinians in their own country and see what happens.

"It is one thing to accept money and arms from Iran and another to be Iranian."

They didn't say they were Iranian, They say Hamas is an ARM of Iran, as in a terrorist group somewhat controlled by Iran. "Do what we say or no more money and missles".

Seems like Turkey is in need of a regime change toward a more moderate government.
