Socialists make me sick!

This is from the article:

Jonathon Porritt, who chairs the Government’s Sustainable Development Commission and was Tony Blair’s adviser on the environment, said that curbing population growth through contraception and abortion must be at the heart of policies to fight global warming.

Hey Briton! How does a big fat taste of Chinese style communism taste?

Of course I shouldn’t mock because it’s heading this way.

I can not disagree with the basic premise of the statement. Why should we bread out many children when replacing ourselves seems like a logical thing to do?

Green people should have no children.

I’d expect this pixie to say something like the government should stay out of women’s uteri because it’s their right to do what they choose. The decision to have children should be left up to the woman and her “healthcare provider.” Isn’t that what they are always telling us? Obviously, like all Commie liberals, he wants to have it both ways. Similar to the global warming crowd.

I vote for a retroactive abortion on Porritt.

I suggest they make a good start by culling Jonathon Porritt.

People will continue to have as many children as they like and that is OK. It’s none of anyone else’s business.. isn’t that what they say when someone is caught with their pants down???? Well, same applies here then.

Boy, you just LOVE big government, don’t you? Gawd, what is in the water around here lately? Liberal trolls or just more of the Obama-lovin’, do-gooder, big mammy government Republicans?

I’m way ahead of this guy. My standard answer to enviros that want me to throttle my lifestyle for “the good of the planet” is: How many children do you have?

My wife and I have no spawn, so as far as I’m concerned we’ve made the ultimate sacrifice and are afforded the Gore-Certified Gold Card of Indulgences.

Excuse me while I fire up the bbq and grill up some baby seal...

What truly ignorant folks do not choose to learn is that populations can still grow when couples have only 2 kids per.

A hypothetical illustrates. Take a bacterium that repros buy fission once, and the resulting bacterium does the same, and this continues on and on.

If none of the parent bacteria croak, then you have more than replacement, you have pop growth.

The same is true w human families. If there are multigenerations, even at 2 per, there is population growth (assuming long-lived elders.)

“We” should be smart and responsible because some of us (and the world) have limited resources. The government should have no say in this!

No child is allowed to have both a brother and a sister?

This is what I hate about environmentalists.

They are anti-human life, plain and simple. I am sick and tired of them comparing Mankind to rabbits, AIDS, insects. They talk about the “human species” and say that we need to stop “breeeeeding.” May God enlighten their dark hearts and they will abandon their misanthropy and greed. A child is a BLESSING and is PRECIOUS beyond measure. The environmentalists want us all to say “I wish I had never been born.” Reminds me of the movie “Its a Wonderful Life.” There is enough food for everyone, and with time we can get better at using the Earth’s resources and producing food.

The Muslims will move in and replace any Brits that are not born due to the likes of Mr. Mean Greenie and his irresposible enviro-cronies.

Anti-capitalist, anti-American and anti-human life (save their's).

Notice that none of them have volunteered to vacate the gene pool.

Any government that wants to provide free health care, education and other services will inevitably find themselves trying to find ways to control population growth. China’s 1 child policy represents an advanced “modern society”.

Yes, it’s ok to be outraged now
