Writer Jerome Corsi is reporting on WorldNetDaily that former, disgraced federal judge, now Rep. Alcee L. Hastings (D-Fla.), an Obama apparatchik, has introduced a new bill calling for the government to establish six concentration camps for corralling civilians on military installations.
The bill, HR 645, creates camps that are similar to the concentration camps used to house political dissidents in Nazi Germany.
According to the proposed bill, the purpose of the National Emergency Centers is to provide temporary housing as well as medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster.
The broad parameters of the bill contribute to concern that the national emergency purpose could be utilized by the secretary of homeland security to include any kind of situation the government wants to contain or otherwise control, Corsi reports.
Rep. Hastings created controversy during the 2008 presidential campaign with his provocative comments concerning Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
If Sarah Palin aint enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention, Hastings said, as reported by ABC News. Anybody toting guns and stripping moose dont care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through.
Uh huh. Were thinking through what you want to do with your bill, Mr. Hastings.

I can’t speak for any of them, only going by others I’ve heard speak about having been to some, found some, etc....and the articles I’ve read with pictures of some.
Anybody toting guns and stripping moose dont care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through.
Holy Cow! I can’t believe this! This guy equates Jews and Blacks to Moose? HE is the one with the problem. This guy also needs to review a 5th grade grammar text.

DemonDeac wrote:The actual bill, H.R.645, National Emergency Centers Establishment Act, also doesn't say anything about forcing people into these emergency centers.
The WND original article also says nothing about the government being able to force people to these either. Barring that critical piece of information its impossible to come to their paranoid comparison linking this to Nazi Germany and even then it takes a gigantic leap.
Sometimes WND takes huge leaps that aren't supported by the facts at all. This looks like one of those leaps. The bill calls for the establishment of six emergency centers for the purpose of disaster relief. It comes under FEMA, under the Homeland Security department.
“I doubt theyre for dissidents. More likely to be used in the event of floods, hurricanes etc.”
C’mon - you’re smarter than that.
2CavTrooper summed it up very well:
Military bases are already used for staging areas in case of disaster.
Every time there is a hurricane thats going to hit the gulf coast, there are hundreds of tractor trailers loaded with food, water, ice, blankets, cots, tents, etc that are prepositioned at Maxwell AFB.
Some refugees from Katrina were housed on military bases.
At no time in our history did we ever need these permanent camps.
The great Chicago fire was handled without these camps.
The San Fransisco earthquake and fire was handled without these camps.
Mount St. Helens was handled without these camps.
The Galveston blast was handled without these camps.
And there were numerous storms and other natural disasters that were handled without these camps.
So the question should really be why is an America hating rat congressman hell bent for leather to establish these camps now?
I see it as a domestic "West Bank." guaranteed to grow 500,000 disaster victims into 4 million dispossesed "victims" in a few generations. Anyone else remember how Katrina victims refused to leave the "refugee" camps (and hotel rooms) when the crisis was long over?
Another potential HUGE and PERMANENT welfare program. Great time to be "investing" in growing our domestic human pet population.
IIRC Ft Hood TX is another place that FEMA has used in the past to preposition supplies for hurricane treats to the gulf coast.
Here is the breakdown for hurricane Gustav:

Here is the response to hurricane Ivan:

As I have said before the question we ought to be asking is why an America hating ‘rat congressman is pushing to establish permanent relocation camps when none were ever needed before?
The government in Iceland was brought down by massive non-violent protest recently. Just a thought and my humble lil ol opinion.
Tax revolt ; )
owever, Hastings rant concerning Sarah Palin is a strong indication of what he wants these camps for.
Rather telling, isn’t it?
