CBNNews.com - CBN News has learned that President Obama will create a President's Council on Faith.

The council will be announced at Thursday's National Prayer Breakfast in Washington tomorrow.

The President has not been shy talking about his faith.

This new council will be made up of religious leaders across the ideaological spectrum.

Their main task will be to provide public policy input on faith related issues ranging from healthcare to poverty. They will meet regularly and discuss their ideas with the President.

The council will be part of an overall faith-based office.

The President is also expected to lay out his vision for that office at the prayer breakfast.

When did healtcare and poverty become faith-related issues?

When it became politically expedient.

“This new council will be made up of religious leaders across the ideaological spectrum.”

Liberal, radical, and revolutionary.

To control this country the Marxists must control faith. This is not good. This “Council on Faith” will attempt to propagandize faith and turn people from it.

“President Obama will create a President’s Council on Faith.”

Super, another government institution that I can ignore. It’s a status symbol for clerics.

That was my point, Obama calls himself a Christian because he uses some elements of Christianity, especially the historical elements and the teachings of Paul, but the elements are all twisted to fit a single agenda, Socialism. Socialism is Obama’s religion.

The origins and beliefs of that Gamaliel Foundation, that we were talking about last week, provide an open window into the beliefs of Barack Obama. I think that these are the beliefs that he plans to introduce to the prayer breakfast.

A precursor to something akin to the Chinese Three Self Patriotic Movement (China’s official religion)?

“The TSPM is not a denomination, and denominational distinctions do not exist within the organization. Pastors are trained at one of only thirteen officially sanctioned seminaries[6] which are Marxist-oriented and teach liberal theology[7].”

Exactly. the O-boy wants to establish a ‘state’ religion, and it won’t look like Christianity. What does he mean by ‘faith’? That could be muslim, hindu, black liberation theology, but not Christian, except perhaps some perverted form of it.

Hussein “hasn’t been shy about his faith?” Are you kidding? He threw his “minister” under a double decker bus, denied ever going to his church or hearing any on his sermons, claimed he had never, ever been a Muslim....hasn’t been shy about his faith??? The only things Hussein hasn’t been shy about are giving the finger to various opponents, lying like a dollar watch and holding the American people in abject contempt.

Hmmmm. I suspect he views this as a way for him to use the government to increase the prestige of the religious left. If he plans to do that, then I would find a First Amendment objection to this. The government should not be in the business of establishing a religion.

“Obama’s form of Christianity does include a belief in life after death, nor does it believe in the divinity of Christ.”

Did you leave out a “not” in the part about including a belief in life after death? Just want to get it straight.

Their main task will be to provide public policy input on faith related issues ranging from healthcare to poverty bash Christianity and Christians, using a federal government sponsored forum.

"...the O-boy wants to establish a ‘state’ religion, and it won’t look like Christianity."

I know what you mean, but I would amend that to say it WILL "look like" Christianity, in the sense of outward superficial facade. It will be a dead ringer.

When the devil mugs you, the first thing he takes is your I.D.

When the devil takes a city, he doesn't change the flag.

"I’m not laughing. That news scares the *** out of me."

Damn right. Now comes the wine and dine, the sincere and heartfelt profession of faith, the come-to-Jesus moment, the offer they can't refuse, the partnership in turning stones into bread and feeding all the hungry "just as it says in the Gospel."

The whole program is in Matthew 4.

And as I said before, it won't be rape. It'll be ---much more effective ---seduction.

Socialism is Obama’s religion.

Which is exactly why he was in Wright's "church" for 20 years until he got "caught" so to speak.
