Awful right? Absolutely. Then why, why, why did Obama shoot down a bill in 2003 to protect live-born survivors of abortion? Summary and comment by NRLC spokesman Douglas Johnson: "Newly obtained documents prove that in 2003, Barack Obama, as chairman of an Illinois state Senate committee, voted down a bill to protect live-born survivors of abortion -- even after the panel had amended the bill to contain verbatim language, copied from a federal bill passed by Congress without objection in 2002, explicitly foreclosing any impact on abortion. Obama's legislative actions in 2003 -- denying effective protection even to babies born alive during abortions -- were contrary to the position taken on the same language by even the most liberal members of Congress. The bill Obama killed was virtually identical to the federal bill that even NARAL ultimately did not oppose."

I'm not going to sit here and tell you that Obama is pleased with what happened in Florida. He he is human and I'm sure would feel quite sad about what transpired; but he does have an awful history when it comes to support of abortion. For more and Obama's stance on abortion, read the following:

Real simple. Voters placed into office a man in favoring of killing already-born infants. (Is it any wonder our nation is under economic judgment?)
We know where he stands. He voted against legislation that would have compelled the doctor to treat this baby.

Not only is it sad what our country has become, it is sad what our species has become. Generally speaking, human beings are crap. They are a stain on this planet. Dogs are better than us, A LOT BETTER. The Lord gave us a good shot, but we are a failure that deserves to be replaced. Maybe you all think I’m crazy or too harsh, but I don’t care. Any creature capable of doing what has been done here is VILE EVIL and deserves the same fate that this infant met.

No. Sorry — not even giving him credit for having compassion. The nurse who testified in graphic detail to the Illinois senate what transpired in that hospital in Chicago saw Obama as the only one who showed absolutely no emotion when the evidentiary photos were displayed. Yes, he’s human in the physiological sense, but it stops there. I believe his heart is as cold and dark as Antarctica in June.
Where’s Ashley Judd? Isn’t she against murdering savage wolves in Alaska? How about “EVERYONE” asking her why she isn’t pissed about MURDERING, KILLING INNOCENT BABIES?

Face it, most were voting for "the cool black guy" and had no idea where he stood on most issues, and just assumed that his views matched theirs.

[A]n additional doctor who then has to be called in an emergency situation to come in and make these assessments is really designed simply to burden the original decision of the woman and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion. … I think it’s important to understand that this issue ultimately is about abortion and not live births.
Here Obama argued that a crying, squirming abortion survivor like Gianna should be abandoned to die, otherwise it would be a “burden” to the aborting mother’s “original decision.”
