Keyes screamed from the roof tops Hillary Clinton was a ‘carpet bagger’ for running for Senator of New York.

If I’m not mistaken, Alan Keyes then moved to Illinois, and did the same thing.

I am correct about this, aren’t I?

But the facts convinced me that Obama is a dangerous left-wing extremist.

That he is.

Oh, go away, Alan. If not for your carpet-bagging and ineptitude nobody more than an hour’s drive from Chicago would have ever heard of Barack Obama.

You are correct, though it doesn’t justify the ugly treatment he received. But, it’s naive to assume that leftist will be civil.

No.

Clinton went to NY because of her insatiable ambition, knowing she would have the political/media establishment in her corner.

Keyes went to IL because no one else was willing to stand in the way of a wicked man’s ascension to power, all the while knowing that he would have the political and media establishments directing their power against him.

No, you're not. Why not read the article.

In all of this there was a hard edged disdain for decent civility that reminded me of the murderous invective Lenin launched against those who opposed the communist agenda. But it all took place behind a media fabricated façade of false hope and moderateness, like the propaganda screen behind which the totalitarians of the twentieth century hid their perpetration of atrocity

well worth the read.

You are correct, and he was roundly and correctly criticized for it...including right here.

Nice observation, but the difference is Rotten is a marxist carpet-bagger while Alan is supporter of the US Constitution. Pray you see the difference.

If not for your carpet-bagging and ineptitude nobody more than an hour’s drive from Chicago would have ever heard of Barack Obama.

After Jack Ryan withdrew and Mike Ditka declined to run, who, 86 days before the election, was going to beat Obama?

Basically, he’s a hypocrite.

If my memory serves, you're a Romney supporter. If so, I hope you typed that while looking in a mirror.
