You are right about the size of government. I am for letting Texas secede from the union. Louisiana, Oklahoma can join us then we can tell the rest of the nation to screw off. All good conservatives are welcome to join us. We can put up a big wall and soon we will be the richest most productive nation on earth.

Secession is a right of any and all states. Lincoln was wrong. There was no decree from God saying the USSA has to exist as it is today forevermore, nor that it has to exist at all.

It was a convenient political arrangement, but the people who live in the USSA are easily segregated into two camps: socialists and capitalists.

Let us do what people have done since humans came onto the scene: split up the land and live as uneasy neighbors.

Secession has never been a legal or responsible option regardless of what Confederate apologists might say. Such an action would bring the same response from D.C. as revolution. Neither would be pretty for the instigators.

Instead of listening to the rants of Glenn Beck, conservatives should be getting involved in the Republican Party and help in winning back power from the Democrats.

I am a senior military officer stationed in Corpus Christi, let me tell you something about Texas.....it is lost. This is one of the most corrupt, tax hungry (property taxes are insane), places I have ever lived. I think I am the last English speaking person left down here.
