With a $787 billion stimulus package in hand, President Barack Obama will pivot quickly to address a budget deficit that could now approach $2 trillion this year.
He has scheduled a "fiscal-responsibility summit" on Feb. 23 and will unveil a budget blueprint three days later, crafted to put pressure on politicians to address the country's surging long-term debt crisis.

Has Obama outsourced his Press Office to Comedy Central?
Something tells me that MSM journalists like Anderson Cooper at CNN will refuse to see the insanity of this. Obama, Reid, and Pelosi just put us $800B in the hole (before interest is included) with pork projects and now Obama wants to lecture us on fiscal responsibility?

Maybe he should have had Congress pass a $790 billion bailout of the federal deficit.

And for Democrats, “fiscal responsibility” means big tax hikes.
It’s just that this time, they went spend-and-tax rather than tax-and-spend.
Just what the economy needs.

Mr. Odumbo, you should have thought about deficits BEFORE pimping the Porkulus bill.

Well - this bill was 37% tax cuts or something.
Look for the new bill to be 73% tax increases. (Sure - THAT will work!)

Well - this bill was 37% tax cuts or something. From what I understand... there wasn't any tax cuts... just transferring money from those who earned it to those who didn't... in short, welfare.

Isn’t it early for Hussein to pull an April Fool’s joke??
The vast majority of the American people did not want the $700B TARP and the $800B Porkulus.....NOW Hussein wants to lecture us about financial responsibility???
I think that he and the other Dums in the beltway think that the American people are pretty stupid. They are going to get a huge surprise.

This guy has got some sort of complex. He is getting off on the fact that he can throw such outrageous lies out there such as this and get away with it. He is probably laughing behind the scenes with his people, telling them, "watch what I get away with today".
It's like when he gave Hillary the finger. He didn't get off on what he did to Hillary. He got off on what he got away with doing.
I really wonder who the real President is, because this guy doesn't have what it takes to do the job. My money would be on Axelrod.
