So, the detestable Patrick Murphy is following in Murtha’s footsteps. Why am I not surprised?

Wow.. It seems that the EOC were beneficiaries of quite the chunks of change vis-a-vis Murtha's earmark largesse:

For example, “$2,500,000 to Penn State Electro Optics Center for Modular Payload Systems”

And.., “$2,500,000 to Penn State Electro Optics Center for Lasers for Navy Applications”;

Not to mention, “$2,500,000 to Penn State Electro Optics Center for Improved Sensor Systems”

Or...“$2,500,000 to Penn State Electro Optics Center for Advanced Night Vision Sensors”

Does anyone else think it strange that EOC was awarded equal dollar amounts ($2.5 million) in earmarks for each activity?

The EOC appears to be a shell company set up to funnel money through the Electro-Optics Alliance (EOA) and then on to member industries and government organizations. Two names that got my attention as members were Concurrent Technologies and the Armstrong County Industrial Development Council.
