NUTS! I've certainly felt like something should be done, but to express thoughts of committing violence towards anyone on the internet is nuts, especially in this day & age.
It's too bad Jim even had to post this warning thread.
So he will be punished ultimately.

Always treat everything you write on the internet as though you were writing it on a postcard that can be seen by anyone, including the letter carrier, and that people will gossip about and act on what you have written.
As I recall, the Secret Service went around and knocked on a few Freeper doors during the Whitewater years.
I trust this forum not to release our names, but some Freepers are not very cautious about that, either.
The basic rule should be don’t joke about bombs in an airport, and don’t joke about political assassinations on the web.
It was OK for leftists to hope that George Bush would die. Bush was a decent guy, and under his presidency the Secret Service simply did its job.
But clinton used to send the SS around to drag people in to jail for a day just for thumbing their noses at him, and I’m sure Obama will be much, much worse.
Also, because he’s black, they seem to be much more paranoid about security. Just look at the measures that were taken in DC during the inauguration.
So, have a care.

I’m beginning to understand how certain segments of Germany’s population felt back in the 1930’s.
The reality of that passing 2/3rds of the Congress, 2/3rds of the Senate and 2/3rds of the States is, in my opinion, a virtual impossibility. By the time that happens, Bambi may have already been voted out after his first term. Just to get through 2/3rds of the States may require several election cycles.
Our forefathers never trusted government.
Of course they never met the wonderful, humanity-loving, Liberals of today, whose constant thoughts are involved in denying themselves and sacrificing for the benefit of the United States of America and her freedon-loving citizens.
How fortunate we are to have a paternalistic Liberal-controlled government ready to provide jobs for us, answer the deep questions of religion, teach us what thoughts to think, and even modify the value of our currecy for our good.
Be Angry, not afraid.
And all belivers should be resorting to the greatest weapon in our srsenal-—pray without ceasing.
