NUTS! I've certainly felt like something should be done, but to express thoughts of committing violence towards anyone on the internet is nuts, especially in this day & age.

I have seen a few but it was obvious it was in a joking manner. I haven't seen a single one on here that threatened to do anything illegal. There are some deleted by the mods, so have no clue what they said. I've never even had a parking ticket and I bet most on here have never been arrested in their life. zer0 needs to chill out and realize being prez. he is going to be criticized, just like all the others. Grow the fk up and get over it.

We have an abuse button, point out comments that go over a line (even if that just means racially insulting).

Don’t be afraid to point out candidates to the Admin worthy of a Zot either.

This site is a good place. We shouldn’t see it judged by questionable comments.

I’ve only seen a few that cross the line, and by that I mean less than 5. As in many situations, I attribute some of these things to lack of diligence, frustration and, yes, stupidity.

I’m more concerned with the nature of “what is a threat” and how might that be interpreted. At some point I believe the bar will be moved down and that ranting and railing against policies will become a “direct threat”, if they already are not.

While I’m not concerned that FR would simply hand over IP information I would be anxious that such details and profile information are being gathered in other ways and I would guess that they can be.

The way that our government is run right now, I simply assume that their is an “enemies list” and that it is not just for the proverbial “big fish”.
