Thanks for posting this. The whole non-issue of the Supreme Court selection is being exploited by Palin bashers, left right and center. My prediction remains that those exploiting this as an anti-Palin tactic will see it backfire on them.

Palin must have weighted and considered her decision.
It would make else no sense... since Gov. Palin’s first Supreme Court pick 2008 is a clearly pro-life judge, and Gov. Palin beside her track record of a pro-life stance public and private, has expressedly voiced her support for the reintroduction of parental consent.

Ping of interest concerning Palin's newest Supreme Court of Alaska appointment. Particularly for those who had issues with this following Fagan's misleading article here.

To reiterate: Morgan Christen was a former member of an organization that would later go on to become a chapter of Planned Parenthood. She was NOT part of that organization when they began offering abortions in Alaska.

This is interesting, the Alaska Family Council has removed all the letters and references to Christen off their website.

http://www.alltheweb.com/search?cat=web&cs=utf8&q=site%3Aalaskafamilycouncil.org+christen&rys=0&itag=crv&_sb_lang=pref

The charges against her have been purged.. I wonder if they where played with bad information?

I'm always wary of 'more Christian than thou' but in the remainder, it was an ok op-ed.

This much is certain -- I am willing to give Sarah's choice the benefit of the doubt, precisely because Sarah had to make an executive judgment, which is exactly what you hire a Governor to do.

I am a pro-life Christian conservative who supports Judge Christen.

For what reason? What has she done in her career that indicates she will be pro-life, in favor of religious freedom or anything but a leftist jurist?

If she is all of those things, those responsible for appointing and supporting her, justifiably, lose credibility.

I don’t get it, what did it say?

I saw that earlier on the net and didn’t mention it because it had no information, besides I’m ready to defend Palin but I am not ready to try and sell the person that Palin was forced to appoint.
