And so how does the left show their appreciation for turncoat Senator RINO Specter?

Supporter -

Republican Senator Arlen Specter is picking sides. It is the crimes of the Bush administration vs. the American people, and Specter is choosing Bush.

Specter doesn't want a Truth Commission to investigate Constitutional abuses authorized by Bush and Cheney. He's calling it a "fishing expedition," "unnecessary" and "un-American." Evidently, Specter is afraid of the truth.

It's time to show Arlen Specter that America cannot only handle the truth, we demand it.

Now's the perfect time to take action, Senator Specter is up for re-election in 2010. With your help we can plaster his home state of Pennsylvania with an aggressive street-level advertising campaign. We'll target the neighborhoods Specter is depending on for support from moderate Republicans and Democrats to win re-election next year. Let's make sure Pennsylvania voters know Specter still stands with Bush.

CONTRIBUTE TO OUR AGGRESSIVE CAMPAIGN AND MAKE SURE SENATOR ARLEN SPECTER GETS THE MESSAGE

Pennsylvanians voted for Obama over the failed policies of the past. They knew America couldn't stand for four more years of Bush Republicans. They voted for change, not for a whitewash of crimes of the past.

What's worse is Specter knows Bush broke the law. As the Obama administration released secret legal papers written by the Bush administration to authorize torture and incarceration of American citizens without due process, Specter said "it sounds to me like it may fall within criminal conduct."

That is exactly the point. We must find out exactly what happened, who did it and when, so that Congress can make sure this never happens again. And Obama's Justice Department can use the truth to prosecute administration officials who authorized criminal activity.

CONTRIBUTE NOW TO SEND SPECTER A MESSAGE

No less than the future of our country is at stake. Do Americans want a cover up or do we want to restore our Constitution? Do we care about renewed diplomacy that stands with the integrity of accountability or do we want to be hypocrites who will sweep our own troubled past under a rug?

Two-thirds of Americans want the truth. If that's not bipartisan, what is?

It's time for Republican Senator Arlen Specter to stop standing by George Bush and Dick Cheney and start standing with the American people.

Thank you for taking action today.

-Charles

So true. The Democrats imagine (falsely I believe) that their boy will not be removed from office early and they will manage to stay out of prison.

Give this market a few more weeks to drop like this and the US Congress will have no friends left in this country.

Traitors of any stripe, rarely, if ever, get respect even from the side they benefited.

Time to start dismantling the Democratic Party establishment. Democracy for America is a good place to start.

When will 'Republican' politicians like Arlen Specter learn that leftist Democrats are happy to use therm to further their agenda but will turn on them in a nanosecond if the 'Republican' poses any obstacle to that same agenda?

Ask John McCain - or, now, Arlen Specter.

The Democrats want to harass former President Bush and his top administration officials (Cheney, Rove) for revenge (winning the election in 2000 & 2004) and to keep the lie alive that Bush committed 'war crimes' while in office, so they can smear the GOP and accuse anyone who challenges them of 'protecting' Bush.

This ridiculous stance is predicated on the lie that Bush did something illegal while pursuing the War on terrorism. Unfortunately, too many Americans will buy the premise and even leftist 'Republicans' like Senator Specter will have to face accusations of wanting to 'hide the truth'.

I assume that conservatives who refused to vote for McCain and/or sat out the presidential election to 'teach the GOP a lesson' are not at all surprised with what a hard-left Democrat president coupled with a leftist congressional majority has inflicted on America....and they're just getting started.

Good question.

I think GOP pols need to start telling the truth when people whine about bipartisanship. They need to announce that the Dems have never exhibited bipartisanship, and that we won’t, either.

Morons voted Obama in, who was the least bipartisan member of the Senate, and he is proving that nothing has changed. Politics is all about dividing and conquering. We need to tell it like it is.

Let’s investigate Democracy for America, who’s in it, who funds it, what it’s connections are.

You can tell people like Specter that the Democrats are not their friend, are not loyal to them in any way, but they do not listen.

Typical of the "man without a country" syndrome. He's not a conservative because he's betrayed them too many times to count. And the Democrats know him for the turncoat he is so they don't want him either, unless it's to pump up their numbers for a close vote.

And he's too stupid to realize he's just being used.

Arlen Specter prostituted himself to the left thinking they will vote for him in next election. He forgot that a pimp never rewards his prostitutes.

Spector is the Rodney Dangerfeild of politics.

He gets no respect and rightfully so.

He can’t even do the triple lindy.
