The rest of the article has other information that puts the quote you cited into question:

“— Freeman’s role as president of the Middle East Policy Council, a think tank they say received funding from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Fuad A. Rihani, a consultant for the bin Ladin family’s Saudi BinLadin Group, also sits on the group’s board of directors — another trouble spot for Freeman’s critics. And they complained the council did not disclose its donors.

— Freeman’s role on a board for the Chinese National Offshore Oil Corporation, owned by China, and that company’s reportedly $16 billion agreement with Iran to develop a gas field in the Middle Eastern country.”

Also:

“Also, The Weekly Standard recently posted a 2006 e-mail from Freeman to a listserv in which he said the Chinese government was “overly cautious” in its effort to “intervene on a timely basis to nip the demonstrations in the bud” during the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests.”

He does fit the Obama model of supressing all dissent.

And has anyone else figured out Obama is intentionally picking the WORST people he can find?

To make himself look better.

In the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is king, and all.

“...and another one bites the dust!”

0bama’s hiring policy apparently states “the candidate for said position shall not, within the past 40 years, have accrued experience or basic understanding pertaining to said position. Experience, understanding, forthrightness or patriotism, if detected during the hiring process, will result in automatic disqualification.”

I'm thinking that too, this is too much to be coincidence. it's like he finds someone he wants to jerk around , in the name of "transparency" and he already has the pins set up,

I'm thinking he lured Hillary out of her senate seat and he will dump her the first chance that comes along, probably early next year

I read last week that HRC misses the private life she’s given up for all this.

I bet this will be a case—a rare one—where a politician really does resign for “family reasons” in that she just wants out of all this. Because if you stop and examine her time in office, she really hasn’t accomplished a lot that any senator hadn’t already accomplished (bringing home the pork).
