"It's incredibly cynical," former McCain adviser Nicolle Wallace wrote in The Daily Beast. "It assumes that voters are too stupid to know the difference between a talk-radio host and a party's elected leaders."

Obama won, didn't he?

This whole brouhaha is designed to get Republicans to snipe at each other and, perhaps more important, to distract voters from what is happening to their 401(k)s -- after Democrats have thrown an extra trillion dollars at the economy.

I agree.

" ... Witness my guy, John McCain ..."

That was a sudden stop reading sign.

Good thing I was wearing my HANS® Device!

Isn’t the word democrat derived from the word demonize? We all know the Demoncrat’s play book is to go after a person personally. They can’t nor won’t debate the issues. All we can hope is that the republican party will figure out a way to actually get it’s message across and that people will put down the Obama issued crack they are smoking and wake the EFF up to just what a Chicago Conman he is.

I think this is typical of Democrats as a whole. They love to do the petty things and avoid doing the heavy lifting to actually solve problems.

Control Limbaugh?
Why?
He is only a person.

He represents thought and ideas and questioning authority.

He represents everything that the One does not.
He is light while the One is darkness.
He is synthesis while the One is antithesis.

He is speech with thinking while the one is a teleprompter.

Limbaugh must be controlled. He might infect others with his questioning thought and questions must be avoided. The One can’t handle questions.

Last year I took on his bashing of Republican moderates and criticized Limbaugh and other talk-radio hosts when they were too harsh on not-yet GOP nominee John McCain.

They weren't harsh enough, evidently.

(And I say that as a "mushy" moderate conservative.)

Mushy moderates don't win anymore and you backed one. Get it? McCain was just another 'my turn' Republican who knew he was going to lose and now snickers about it. It's not that funny, is it?

They are communists. Limbaugh is a capitalist. Moderates are socialists.

Limbaugh's become the focus of the debate because it's the only debate out of a list of true, critical issues the obama regime thinks it can win.

Barack Hussein Obama wants to be “Julius Caesar” without the blood shed.

Newsweak’s cover story this week is Rush with duct tape across his mouth. Article by David Frum, named as ‘conservative’. They’ll do anything to bury Rush. Whatever it takes.

Rush is the voice of Conservatives, not Republicans.

Big, Big Difference.

They want to paint Rush and his listeners as right-wing nutjobs. And McCain RINO’s as moderates until an election, then they will be right-wing nutjobs.

I to want Obama to fail.

The San Francrisco Chronicle’s token ‘conservative’ is trotted out once again.

Debra Saunders = soon to be out of a job, maybe she can sell out to some other leftist yellow rag looking for a token conservative in an attempt to gain credibility.

In the grand buffet table of conservatism, Debra Saunders represents the little stack of napkins next to the salad plates.

Well, if they can get “mainstream” elected Republicans to reject Rush, they can easily paint him as an extremist. Therefore, anyone who supports, or even listens to, Rush is a troglodyte, right-wing, religious kook who hates minorities, gays and anybody that believes in evolution.

There is then no harm in silencing Rush, who is, after all, only a fear-mongering wingnut spewing hate-speech to ignorant followers.

If Rush goes down, it’s all over, I’m afraid. And I don’t trust the squishy, suck-up Republicans we have in Congress to stand up to the heat that’s coming. What we have seen is only the first volley.

It would be nice if the Dims would put as much effort into their jobs , serving we the people, instead of attacking a private citizen.

**Because Limbaugh used the f-word, Good Republicans are supposed to distance themselves from him.**

Regarding Obama, I'll use 2 "F" words.

Actually, the Distancing I DID, was from from the REPUBLICAN PARTY.. they do not get my vote OR my Money!!

YO, Serpenthead and FOREHEAD.. we'll accept RUSH as the defacto head of the GOP, the minute you to MAN UP and admit that GEORGE SOROS is the DEFACTO HEAD of the DEM PARTY.

Not Holding my breath on that one.

You just knew that when the recently elected executive stooped to attacking a radio entertainer, essentially a nonpartisan, private citizen, that entertainer's speculation was probably accurate. Obama and his immature, ragtag group of socialist activists need be no where near the White House.
