Some cute girls look very becoming in a tuxedo.
Why does something like this have to become a lawsuit?
Why is it ok for the lesbians to offend our sensibilities by a girl wearing a tuxedo, but it’s not ok for us to offend her sensibilities by insisting she wear a dress because she is a girl?
Either way, somebody is going to be offended. Why does the mainsteam of society always have to be the one who is offended? Why can’t the minority be the one to be offended? Why does she feel she has to make a lesbian statement over a school prom in the first place???????
The Lesbian from Lebanan
Lesbanon?
Lebanon PA.
I am suprised it went to court, the school should have caved to the GLBT coalition immediately.
why does she have to file a lawsuit over this?
If she really feels this so strongly, she can go live in Noe Valley after she graduates. But why do we have to force recognition of homosexuality into high schools?
Anyone remember that dance contest in the movie “Grease”, where they said among the rules for the dance contest were that “all couples must be boy/girl”? Can you imagine today if anyone would have such a rule?????
Back in 1985 the resident lesbo in my school got to wear a tux.
It makes me wonder why schools even bother with “proms”. More bother than they’re worth, good chance of getting sued...
...if I sat on their School Board, I’d vote “no”.
Ah the 80’s I miss them come to think of it I can’t remeber much from them
“Will the term “Prom Queen” be banned, too? /s”
Not if Barney Frank is there.
1. Why does she sue?
2. Why does the school prevent her from wearing what she wants?
3. Why is this news?
4. Why am I commenting on this?
1985 was a great year to graduate.
The good old days.
I wear one on occasion .....
He's the banking queen.
I’m suprised I’m hearing about it. School administrators should know how to pick their battles. As long as she is dressed up, they should not give her the attention she is obviously craving.
Now you have Abba in my head.
Now to change the words.....
Same at my school. Who the hell really cares? It didn't ruin my prom at all. Sometimes we get too worked up looking for things to be outraged about.
“It makes me wonder why schools even bother with proms. More bother than theyre worth, good chance of getting sued...”
I guess they figure that our educational system is so wonderful, there is nothing else left to teach them so they deserve a special break.
