Every American should view this awesome video by a New Yorker who lived through it. It was the most viewed video ever, having been viewed millions of times. It is now in the Smithsonian.

It brings back that day with the same emotion I felt then.
Those days after 9/11 were wonderful in the way the country was so patriotic. Flags were flying everywhere and America was so united. We still fly our flag everyday, as do a couple of our neighbors. What happened to this country? How did George Bush become the enemy? Very upsetting, really.

What sickens me is the number of Americans who believe that the attack was planned and carried out by our government. And even those who don’t believe to that extent will say that videos like this and even Glenn’s show are nothing but “fear mongering”. Sometimes I feel like I live on a completely different planet.
I had not seen the video until now. Very powerful. I needed the reminder of that horrendous day. Seems like people have forgotten. I wept all over again.
